ICQ IP?

I just noticed that Trillian and the Windows version of ICQ show the person's IP in the details window, yet ICQ for Mac, and Adium do not. Anyone know why?

For me Adium shows the IPs of ICQ contacts in the "get info" window in the info-tag of the user ...

Weird it just showed me his UIN, nick, age, etc.

From my experience, the only time you'll see the IP of an ICQ user is when they're using the official ICQ client (and my only experience is with Windows users in that regard, so it may not apply to the official Mac client) or gaim (and again, the only people on my list that use gaim are using the *nix version, so it may not apply to the Windows version).

At least, that's the only time I see the IP of an ICQ user in their info.

Thats what I figured it was a Windows only thing...Someone asked about it so I figured I'd post it here.

Note that I said you can also see the IP of ICQ users who are on *nix running gaim.
