i was curious if it would be possible to be able to change the browser in which you "grab" a address/link from, currently it is only for safari but i use opera more and my friends have all turned to firefox as i know alot of people have

Actually my friend, what you need to simply do is this:

1. Open Safari
2. Go to Preferences and make your way to the General tab
3. From the very first drop-down, labeled 'Default Web Browser' select Opera (or Mozilla... but I wouldn't recommend using a crappy browser :p)
4. Quit Safari (and never touch that POS again)

Now all links in Adium will open in Opera. As a matter of fact, any links from any application will now open in Opera.

I think he's talking about the reverse action of that. I think he wants to pull the current address in Safari and message it to someone. (the 'Safari Link' button in the message window toolbar)
