disabling status messages?

I am using Adiumx for MSN Messenger, is there a way to disable status messages in chatwindows like these? :

21:06:55
USER went idle
status
21:07:42
USER became active"

I think if you were to open up the message style you're using, by command clicking it then selecting show package contents, (It's located in ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Message Styles) and then open status.html in textedit, delete everything there then save. If you're using an inbuilt style well then....they're harder to find. In the package contents of Adium itself somewhere. Again, I'm not 100% on this but seems like the logical why to turn status message alerts off..
