iTunes current track playing: how to?

No-one knows? It seems that there are many here who do. I've typed /music as my alias on both icq and msn. Doesn't work. Have /music in the script-menu.

What are you looking at? Yourself in your contact list, a person looking at you, or the Alias field in the Accounts pane?

This is not intended to be hidden. How could it have been clearer what these could do?

hidden was a joke.. I never had a look at this edit menu.. (kill myself)

Maybe it would been even easer to find if you had a toolbar button in the message window, kind of like the Emoticon toolbar button with a dropdown menu.

No, if you enter "/music" in your MSN name somewhere (or in your AIM profile, etc.), it will automatically update every 30 seconds.

Managed to do this but my track does not change every 30 secs. Ironicall it is stuck on U2 - The Hands That Built America

i know its a series of keys but i dont know which...
i want to put it at the beginning of the %_artist bit.
so people know it is music and not just some random words.

In the Edit menu there should be a menu item "Special Characters...". It will allow you to insert a symbol if you don't know the keyboard shortcut for it.

If you choose the Special Characters menu item, the Character Pallete will appear. Expand the Symbols category on the left and you'll find a subcategory called "Musical Symbols".

it would be great if there was a script that could switch your status for you. I mean whenever you start up iTunes and play a song the script could change your status to iTunes now playing for you.
