Hey everyone,
This is my first post on this board and I'm also a recent switcher to Mac. First and foremost, I'm very impressed by the software for this OS. Adium is, in my opinion, the best program I've ever used for this service both internally and aesthetically. The only thing I have yet to be able to do is integrate AIM's function to "DC" or "Direct Connect". I understand that it can, in fact, connect in this manner, but I have not been able to actually send or recieve a file using this transfer type. I really hate to settle for sending the file to a folder of theirs, as opposed to swapping pictures inter-chat window. If this is not possible, no biggie, but some feedback would be of value.
Great job with a great program!

Here is some feedback
1. Post in the correct forum
2. Search trac.adiumx.com->It DOES say "Support and development" on the main adiumx page.

vash, sorry if we were a little harsh there, but this sort of question is asked a lot, so you really should search trac or search the forums before you ask about something like this
. But to answer your question, service-related things like Direct Connect aren't really handled by Adium development; rather, they're handled by libgaim, the backend of the Linux app gaim, which is built into Adium and allows it to connect to all those services. For things like this, we basically just have to wait for the gaim developers to improve it.
