Display picture delay

Why does it take so much time for other contact's avatars to update after they change it? Is there any way to fix that problem?

NO!

It's probably your cache. Quit Adium, and delete ~/Library/Caches/Adium and ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Users/Default/libgaim/icons and relaunch Adium.
