Connect to all shortcut?
Connect to all shortcut?
Is there a connect to all account key shortcut? Inversely, a disconnect from all? If not, any plans for them?
Unfortunately no, even though there used to be a File menu command for it. The Trac page on it (http://trac.adiumx.com/wiki/ConnectAll) can be misleading, since selecting Available from the Status menu only connects all accounts that are checked in the Accounts pref pane.

connect all
I really miss this "connect all" feature. I had it in a very recent version, but was sad to see if gone in .82. Any reason for it's disappearance? Could it be added back in for the next version?

Re: connect all
It’s more flexible now, I guess. You can connect all as Available (Status->Available) or Away (Status->Away). Just use the keyboard pane to map one of these to command+shift+K.teacher24_70 wrote:I really miss this "connect all" feature. I had it in a very recent version, but was sad to see if gone in .82. Like I said, I don't think that will work. Using the Status menu affects only certain accounts, probably just the ones you have checked in the accounts pane. And if you check more of them, they start signing on by themselves or at startup or whatnot.

True, but they don’t connect automatically if they’re checked. If you check one, yeah, it connects. And you need the “Connect on Startup” option on for it to connect on launch.FredAkbar wrote:Like I said, I don't think that will work. re: connect all
I looked back at my old versions. I did have this "connect all"/ "disconnect all" option in .77. I don't know what I did with the versions I've had between .77 and my current .82, so I'm not sure which version did away with it. I'd just like to see it back again. Obviously it worked before, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work fine now.

Killed in 0.8. Just use the Available and Away and Offline items in Status!teacher24_70 wrote:I looked back at my old versions. I did have this "connect all"/ "disconnect all" option in .77. Re: re: connect all
I never thought of doing it that way. I was connection/disconnecting via the File menu--therefore I had to connect individually to each of my 4 accounts. I didn't realize that "available" and "away" in the status menu would connect/disconnect you from each and every account--all in one move/click.zaudragon wrote:Killed in 0.8. Thanks for the advice.
