Log Viewer Search

Post by plucas »

Hey,
Sorry if this has been asked before... but I couldn't find it through search.

I was messing with my preference files today... I copied the "Adium 2.0/Users/Default" folder... and made then adium recreated it. I then was messed around and then copied my original folder back.

Everything works the same as it always has, except I can't search my old logs. All the old logs show up, but like their not indexed or whatever. How can I reindex them? Or what I can do so I can search through them again.

Thanks so much!

Open the log viewer, and wait until you don’t see “indexing” in the status bar.

Try quitting Adium, deleting ~/Library/Caches/Adium, opening Adium again, and opening the Log Viewer. It should say "indexing x of y logs," where x and y are numbers, near the top.
