help! all i see is white!

i dont know why or how it happened, but now all i see is white when im typing messages to people and when i send the message... but the people receiving the messages are seeing black. its really annoying because i cant see what im typing

i dunno what to do! i tried playing with the preferences but nothing is working! please help!

Did you try Command-Shift-C (which brings up the Colors window)? That's standard for any Cocoa app for changing the color of the text in a text view.
