Anyone have a request for a dock icon??

I am a Mac designer who loves to create things... I recently put together the Strongbad Reloaded dock icon, but would love to make more. Is there an idea for a dock icon that you have been wanting to see?

Let me think... How about:
- a coke can that opens and lets coke out when a message arrives?

- an atom that spins?
- an Apple logo that let a duckie out when a new message?

I have a great idea for a dock icon: a Dalek from Doctor Who.

For images, please find them here and here.

Please keep the icon simple, don't bloat it with signposts and things like that :-) Discrete things like the light being off or the Dalek's base glowing would be just perfect.

Well, as long as you're taking requests...

1.) a New Zealand Adiumy - specifically, a Kiwi instead of a duck.

2.) a surfer Adiumy
3.) a coffee Adiumy (any interpretation will do)
4.) a smilie-face Adiumy, all aqua-fied up. (that may or may not have already been done...)

ooo, requests?

1) An Animaniacs icon (yakko, wakko, or dot, or all three...preferably wakko or dot)
2) A dancing Adiumy (more specifically, a lindy hopper or swing dancer)
3) A UGA Bulldawg Adiumy

1) A glassy penguin....blue in color if possible

. Kinda like the 'aduim original aqua'...but more penguinish and blue

2) Maybe some type of 'fencing' icon...the sport of fencing, of course. A cartoonish version would look kinda cool w/ alot of aninmation possiblity.

Hm...an icon, eh? A trombone playing adiumy would be awesome. I'd try it, but I don't have Photoshop on my computer yet, and there's no way I'm gonna go back to using our ancient iMac (one of the original iMacs) just to use Photoshop (or do much of anything, for that matter).

I would love to see a Homer Simpson icon, and a Philadelphia Flyers (holding a hockey stick) icon. Is there any kind of tutorial or something that gives guidelines for creating these dock icons? I thought I came across one at some point, but now I can't seem to find it.

How about a "Strong Badiumy" icon? You know, an Adium duck with the head colored like SB (but with the bill still showing) and barebreasted and winged except for boxing gloves on the ends, and a black pant cover on the bottom.

Don't get me wrong... the Strong Bad icon you made is cool, but I like the idea of making it more obviously Adium whilst still paying homage to the coolest guy in the Universe.

Hey look it's be back from the grave. Anyways acode, if you want, your welcome to visit the Adiumy Dock Icon and make any icon you wish. Especialy since I have not been making anything. Maybe it's time to give the old thread a bump.

There have been lots of request, and all of them very tempting to create... the first one I think I'll take on is the paintballer adiumy. I think I do this one justice and always like a challenge. If you requested something else, don't fret, I will be making more... many more.
