Adium support site causes Safari crash

Post by racheli »

I'm not sure if this is the best place to put this, but I don't really know where else it would go. I'm having a weird problem - when I try to access the trac.adiumx.com site, after I search for something Safari unexpectedly quits. This has happened five times now. I'm not even doing anything - I'll do a search, the page will come up, then the beachball starts spinning and a couple seconds later, Safari crashes.

I have absolutely no idea why this keeps happening. It's never happened with any other site - just the Adium documentation/support site. Yet it keeps happening at this one place. It's frustrating because I want to know if some bugs I've found have already been reported, but I can't search for them.

Anyone have any thoughts on why this might happen? The only times Safari has ever crashed on me were if it became really overloaded or some weird plugin hiccuped, but that shouldn't be the problem with the all-text Adium trac site.

This is a known bug in Safari. I believe it's fixed in recent nightly builds.

I'm confused - the website problem can be fixed with Adium's nightly builds?

(Sorry this response is late, my Internet has been down for several days.)

Doesn't crash on trac, for starters. It also seems to use less ram.

It doesn't give me stupid javascript errors when I go to my Hotmail account, either.
