Contact List completely transparent, how to?

Post by VermilionPulse »

Hi, I am probably just missing an option somewhere, but how can i make the contact list completely transparent except for the names/icons?

like this one -- http://www.resexcellence.com/snapshots/ ... fect.shtml

it has no title bar or anything, how do i get that?

You can edit the style file to have it at 0%, but you can't click it at all

If you have a solid background colour like they do, you can make the contact list the same colour and turn window shadow off then it will blend perfectly!!

I did the same thing, you might also try using contact bubbles that fit the individual names, that will cut down on the amount of "list" that you see also.

Making it 0% causes some clicking issues, and I really can't see the difference between 5% and 0% myself, but if you really want it, edit the plist,
