When I first began using Adium, a little sillouette of the program's icon appreared in the upper right corner of the screen, too the left of the clock, network, and battery status. That icon is no longer there, but the iChat one still is (the greyed speech bubble). How can I get the Adium icon back up there? (and my apologies for not knowing the technical name for that bar of info in OS X, im guessing its something like the "system tray" in Windows?)
Much appreciated,

This has been talked about to absolute death, and this thread is going to be locked. Here is your answer, in the hopes that all future searches find this thread.
iChat is able to do this because they have a completely separate program open after iChat quits than handles the menu. Adium does not have this, and the Adium developers, long ago, said they were not willing to have a separate program open for such a task.
The Adium menubar icon, as it stands now, is only there when Adium is open.
