Using GROWL for MAIL notification through PROTEUS but.......

I have many email address's that proteus keeps in order. It's convenient that by using GROWL I can be notified of each incoming mail but, it is inconvenient that every time I close the notification window will result in a Safari window being opened linking me to my email provider (yahoo, , etc..)
Anyway to turn that off? I remember in older version's of Growl I removed the notification window by just clicking the mouse over it.

In the applications tab, uncheck click for proteus.

Otherwise I think option clicking works for now. We'll eventually have close boxes on them.
