With Google Talk coming out today, I'm using Jabber for the first time. I'm trying to create a Group Chat.. but its evidently not working.
File -> Join Group Chat
Account .. me@gmail.com
Chat Room Name .. somename
Server .. conference.gmail.com
Handle .. sameaschatroomname
Password .. Test
Then I added my other google talk contacts and clicked Join. Then nothing happens. I also tried again keeping the same settings, but using the conference.jabber.org server, and again nothing happens.
I assume I just don't know what I'm doing.
