My brother just asked for my help because his contact list isn't working properly. He's still using 0.82. The problem is that the user icons of his contacts aren't updated anymore. He's still seeing the icon someone used months ago, while that person says he/she has changed it a thousand times since. First I thought the problem had something to do with the release of 0.83, but he says this has been going on for a while. Can downlaoded contact list or message view styles be the cause? I really don't know, so I hope someone has experienced the problem before or just knows what to do.
i have the same problem, if the user changes his/hers contact icon, it wont show the new one, unless i restart the adium or the user on the another end starts msn again. sometimes that even wont help.. and i'm using msn service.
