please...thanks!
adium dock icon
Picture size: I'd imagine it'd be 128 by 128 (as with every other Mac OS X icon).guilte wrote:yup i went there...but i don't understand..haha...
maybe i'll ask the qns here..
how big is the picture suppose to be?
and do i just replace the entire code that is there...with just my file names?
The other question: Perhaps you're better off downloading a custom dock icon and comparing the two .plist files for yourself to see what the difference between the two are.
To view the plist file, simple control-click the .AdiumIcon extra and choose "Show Package Contents" from the contextual menu. That'll show you the guts of an Adium icon.
When you go to assemble your icon, put all the necessary files (the images and the plist file, etc) in a folder and give the folder the extension ".AdiumIcon".
I wonder if this is any help...

See the thing is these icons are animated. So their are multible images for each icon. Like an image for way, an image with the ducks eyes closed ect. The plist is simply a guide to tell which image is which. If you want you can simply make a copy of a custom icon and replace the images with your own images with the same names. Than the only thing you have to change is the author and the title and website. It's in the first few lines of the code.
And your icon should still work even if you don't change this info, this is more for you to take credit and give credit to the artist.
I hope this works for you.
Code: Select all
<key>Title</key>
<string>Your Title Here</string>
<key>Creator</key>
<string>Your Name Here</string>
<key>LinkURL</key>
<string>Link to Your Web Site Here</string>I hope this works for you.
