disable font reset

is there any way to disable the feature that sets the font back to default (11pt black lucida?) when i press enter on a blank IM?

No, but it's annoyingness has made it on the way out for a future version.

I was wondering about that, 'cause someone said it was "fixed" for .90 and I figured it couldn't be that hard to merge it to the .8x branch, since everyone seems to hate it...but if they haven't fixed it at all yet then that makes more sense.
