Not particularly. Adium reacts appropriately when the event happens but that's about it.

would be cool to have such logs though. makes you able too see if someone has been online that day or that week.

is it an interesting and viable idea or will this never ever get a chance?

This (a Contact Activity Log) is actually something which has been on my cool-but-random list of things to do at some point, probably as an external plugin and not part of the default build. No promises, but I wouldn't be horribly surprised to see it happen at some point :)

what you can do, is make an action for all your groups and have it log in a log sign on and off.. do this by highlighting a group, right clicking, get info, go over to actions, add an action for sign on, and make the action to add to log file.. this will do what you want

Couldn't you just set a general action, instead of a group one?

I remember thinking about making an activity log some time back, using the AppleScript/action method. I gave up because the logs would get really big really fast, and would most likely end up being rarely looked over.

It's cool to know that other people are interested in this feature, though. Has anyone used Messenger Plus for the PC? I still miss the "activity log" that was part of the add-on suite.

Glad to see that something I posted on so long ago is garnering attention again. Hey Strifer, maybe we will have better luck this go round...
