iTunes + Synergy + Growl = Pop Up Video! :?

So here's the deal.

I like synergy's pop ups better than growls. I want to use those instead. But I want to use Growl for other apps. I have deleted Synergy from the growl list of applications in Sys. Prefs

Then I restart, log out, turn my back, bat an eyelash, take a nap, whatever...and suddenly, the next time I open iTunes, either via Synergy or iTunes itself, and suddenly I'm getting 2 pops ups. 1 from growl, 1 from synergy.

This happens no matter if I delete growl or reinstall it. Same with Synergy.

I run synergy, latest build, on 10.4.2. Latest version of Growl too. Any thoughts?

Can't you just uncheck Synergy from the Growl app list (as opposed to deleting it from the list)? That's what I have done, and it works fine for me.

Exactly. That should work; it worked for iScrobbler in my case. Hmm… what do Synergy’s look like?
