For Mac OS 10.4.x you have to use these:

Code: Select all

defaults write com.apple.mail EnableBundles 1
defaults write com.apple.mail BundleCompatibilityVersion 2

Im not sure, but i think I've found a bug. When receiving more email then what growl can display on my screen, Mail will give me the "spinning beach-ball" while apparently getting the other emails and never end. Im using Mac OS 10.3.9. Any ideas on whats causing this?

I just upgraded to Tiger and 10.4.2 as a result, now my GrowlMail is not working.

I read this thread and it appears I have to put those commands in. I presume this is in the terminal??

I have written the commands in as they appear a couple of posts above, only I don't know what I need to do next. Do I save it?? if so where and what called?? How do I make it actually work??

After typing the code i wrote up there. You don't need to do anything. A restart will put the GrowlMail preferences in the Mail preferences for you.
