show nickname in messegewindows?

show nickname in messegewindows?

how can I get adium to show the nicknames in the messegewindows instead of the icq-numbers or email-adress (msn)?

please help!

You can make an Alias and it will show that instead, but unfourtunatly, Adium can't show MSN Status Names or anything like that yet.

View > Contact Name Format > Alias.

i've tried that, but it only changes the names in the contact-list, not in messege-windows...

Close and reopen the window.

Also, it only works in certain messageview styles.

i've tried that too, but still i can only see the icq-number in the messege-window...

You should tell us which one you’re using instead ;)

My Terminal Message Style doesn’t; I think it’s closer to the actual prompt that way.
