Not searching log

Post by Rita »

I had done a search of my logs, found the log I wanted, and then went to a different window. When I clicked back on my logs window, I acidentally clicked on the delete button. Well, I moved the log back into the right folder and it shows up fine, but I can't seem to search that log. I did the exact same search I did before I deleted it (knowing full well it should pull that log up) and it says that no such logs exist. Any suggestions on how to get it to search that log again?

You can always delete ~/Library/Caches/Adium and then reopen Adium and the Log Viewer; it will reindex every log file if you do that.

The new logging system in 0.9 should resolve this sort of issue :)
