Away/Not Away Bug?

I just downloaded 0.74 and the buddy I was on the phone with said I was not away when Adium told me I was. I clicked Return and went away again, and my friend said I was then away. Maybe I really was away or maybe I wasn't, but I though I would start a thread in case this is an issue. Mac OS X 10.3.7.
