This is something I noticed since I updated Adium to 0.84 and it installed Growl 0.7.2. When I roll over the alerts, they steal focus, disrupting my flow and freaking me out. Is this a bug or a misguided feature?
I'm running OSX 10.3.9 on a 1.33GHz iBook G4 with 768MB of RAM. Growl version 0.7.2, Adium version 0.84.
Generally I notice it when I'm doing one of two things:
* Typing something into an entry box in the upper right hand corner of the screen, as in iTunes or Safari.
* Using my top-right hot corner, which I have set to Application Windows. This is the most disruptive of the two, as the application I was working in no longer has the focus, so it doesn't... like... work... right... etc...
Growl Notifications Steal Focus on Rollover
Uh.
I am using the 14 inch iBook monitor. 1024x768, millions of colors.
That can't be what you meant, though.
Edit: Oh, no, my bad. I get it. I just tested, and it happens with Plain, Candybars, and Crystal, and not for any of the others. I didn't realize that at first, as those three just happen to be the only three I use.

Currently, my default style is Candybars. However, I have iTunes set to use Plain and Mail to use Crystal. My network notifications from my website are also set to use Crystal. Growl itself is set to use Bubbles, but I hardly ever get notifications from it.
I have not installed any plugins, to the best of my memory, and don't see a "Display Plugin Selection".
