I'm trying to make some simple scripts but even that proves challenging. Could anybody steer me in the right direction of how I would go about triggering a certain away message with a command in the message window?

Is it possible at all to trigger certain away messages through an Applescript command in the message window?

K. I got it to work. The only problem I have now is that certain scripts won't install while some will. I have made a custom brb script and while this installs fine if I rename this it won't anymore.

Does anyone have any ideas why?

Ok, so it installs, meaning it gets copied into the script folder in app support, fine but I cannot get it to show up in Adium. All other scripts I have tried show up in Adium but this doesn't. I have checked everything and cannot find the problem with it. Any ideas?

Hmmm, after finding out that it works perfectly for other people I reinstalled Adium and now it works fine. Odd.
