Use my Raw HTML script on Adium Xtras. Search for that; I’m feeling lazy right now. But make sure you don’t use any other text OUTSIDE the /html{} since it would crash Adium.
EDIT: ON SECOND THOUGHT, just use command+K. That would insert a link. But if you need other things (<hr> being one of them) use my script…

The problem with an app like Adium supporting raw HTML (I assume you meant you wanted to type HTML code into IMs or your profile) is that it limits the ability to type the < and > characters. Since Adium is an IM client, its first priority is to make sure you can send whatever text you'd like; because of this, it converts < and > to < and > where necessary, rather than assuming they're part of HTML code that you typed in. But as zaudragon mentioned, use Cmd-K for hyperlinks.

That’s why I made that script; you can use Raw HTML well enough.FredAkbar wrote:The problem with an app like Adium supporting raw HTML (I assume you meant you wanted to type HTML code into IMs or your profile) is that it limits the ability to type the < and > characters.
