Aim Icon

How would I go about getting others to see my aim icon I have set up under my account in the preferences? I have an icon but no on can see it? Is this not possible for people using the official AIM client to see this Adium icon? Which wouldn't make sense since people can see my msn icon I have set up. Any help would be appreciated.

I had an issue like this where I had set an icon for my MSN account, and while it showed me as having that icon, nobody else could see it.

What I did to fix it was to change the icon to something completely different, and then change it back to the one I really wanted. Adium seemed to register, and people could see my new icon.

I tried chaning the icons around, but nothing seems to be working.

take it back, after I change the icon and then back it shows up, but I have to do this everytime I log in and stuff and only some people on my lists see it. Any permant solutions?
