status menu categories?

Post by samuryan »

it would be really helpful if we were able to make categories in our status menu, like one for different gaming away messages, or different meal times, etc.

maybe someone will implement it :D

That would be kinda cool but you can already make a ton anyway. Besides you can just make a custom one for the time being

I think just using Cmd+Y is the easiest and quickest technique. The menubar, for me, is way too time consuming... time consome me.... consumer.... *jams to Coheed & Cambria*

with command y, you have to type out a message

what im talking about is different.

im sayign like you would have:

Status Menu
-------------------------------
Gaming > a buncha different preset gaming messages
Meals > a buncha different preset meal messages
-------------------------------
and then all the account things

Yeah, but for me, it would take just as much time (or less) to press Cmd+Y and type my message out than scroll up to the menu bar, select the occasion, and select the exact status message.

I kinda agree on the categories... right now my Statuses are organized alphabetically, and categorically, but in list format. For instance:

Class:
Class:
Class:
Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
Random:
Random:
Shower:
Shower:
Sleep:
Sleep:
Song:
Song:
Song:
Song:
Song:
Song:

And then the subsequent descriptions are alphabetized... it really helps me out, but it's hella time consuming to do... haha :)

exactly what im saying. i frequently have to organize my status menu, prune old ones, etc, so my list doesnt grow too long, and it would be a welcome addition to be able to file them into different categories :)
