UI suggestion for buddy info

Post by Crypt »

well i dont know if this was implemented at one point in time but i think it would be awesome if i could vew to different people's information (profile, events, etc) in the same window using tabs or in two different windows. i hate how if i want to keep somebodys buddy info open it changes when i want to view somebody elses really quick.

So you'd like something along the lines of a list of contacts to the left of the window that you view buddy profiles, events, etc in? Something a bit more independent of the Contact List? Hrmmm, sounds interesting to me!

YES EXACTLY THAT OR the standard buddy info window that displays events, their profile, and all that except with a tabbed browsing feature where you say have two profiles open at the same time and you can just go back and forth between them

id like to see that too, have the get info window work like IMs - a new window or tab opens for each person

either that or simply make me have to get info on a new person to change it, rather than just clicking hteir name while the window is open

I wouldn't mind moving most of the stuff in the info window to a drawer on the message window. Drawers are good for options that are not frequently changed, like most of the things we have in the info window currently.

Not really sure the profile would fit in there very well. Devs?

i agree with you 100% draws are great. but if you made a draw why make it an option to view all the people your speaking to in a draw like proteus? make it an option where you could use the current tabbing system or a draw.
