Away Message Showing Previous Away Message

Just been suffering from this bug for a while, so I decided to ask you guys about it while I managed to grab a screenshot of it.


I just blurred out what I don't want you to see and what isn't important.

Basically, if you read the away message in the dialog box, it's showing a previous away message instead of what's showing up in the contact list. What's showing up in the contact list is what her away message actually is. What is showing up in the dialog box is what her previous away message was.

I'm not going to comment on the broken image, it's just an old theme, so I guess ignore that.

Sorry if this is old or anything, but Trac scares me. I tried to search it, but I don't even know what I would search for besides "away message".

I'm on the latest version (x.86), yet this has been around for a while. Also, this is AIM, but I haven't seen if it works on ICQ or anything else.

I was just experiencing said problem today. Perhaps search Trac for "away message display" or something....if all else fails, file a ticket. That's basically the only way things get fixed.

Yup, searching for that turned up this ticket. I guess someone else covered it. Is there anything I should do, like post "I am also having this problem"?

Me toooo. I thought it was part of that whole "Rate overflow" problem, but apparently not.

I should've known it wasn't when I never got that warning.

milestone set to Adium X 0.87.

I'm guessing this means they want to fix this by 0.87, right? I didn't see if a beta was out yet, so I doubt it means it's fixed already.
