Saving Individual Chats

Post by arazer »

I just want to save one chat session but when I go to file the save as option is greyed out. Any ideas on how to save just the one session?
Thanks

I don't believe that is currently supported, but it may have been added in my absence... anybody?

Is there any reason you can't open the Log Viewer and select all the text and then drag to the desktop to create a text snippet or into TextEdit to create a text document? I know it's not perfect but it would provide a workaround.

As before, save as doesn't do anything yet :)

I for one don't log... but a fair number of the message styles are carefully copy-paste friendly, so you should be able to copy the text out of the message window and create a text file from that.

Is this targeted for 1.0? If not, it probably should be. I'll look into it as part of my XML logging adventure.

Also, good to see you around Brian :)

I believe it is. I know I've seen a ticket for it and I've been looking at the 1.0 roadmap as of late so that could be why.

Glad to be around again and back (and behaved.) Nice to see your incredibly active again Colin with some free time :)
