Fonts in adium

Ive noticed a problem with fonts and im not sure if im just bein stupid or if this is a problem others have noticed:

when i change my font size in adium (to say 24 for example) and i start IMing someone the new font size is visible only to me and other adium users. So if i IM someone using AIM theyll c my font in size 10. Its kinda weird because they can c a new font if i change my font but they cant c my new font size.

do any of your friends have their instant messengers set to reformat incoming messages? Sometimes people can set minimum and maximum font sizes, so if your font is too big or small, it will be reset to the default size when they see it

i just made another sn and checked if there were any min or max font sizes and i didnt find any

If it's to AIM's official OS X client, the font sizes don't work. Seems to be an AIM bug, not an Adium bug.
