Probably a very newb question- Messages

I've been using Adium for quite a few months now, but I just wanted to know if there was a certain message style that would allow me to see other people's fonts,and if not, if I would be able to change the preferences somehow so I would be able to. Thanks

IIRC it is a matter of message styles respecting fonts in some cases as well as a glitch. Doesn't sound as if he was hostile about it

Message styles can choose to ignore formatting (so that the authors can be sure that you see things as they intended). However, there should be a number of included styles that DO show your contacts' fonts -- have you tried them all? (I'm especially thinking of Simple)

I've seeen this work before in Smooth Operator, bgannin showed me a screenshot…
