The status change does work and it shows a personalized status in the general status section of the EMD but the individual statuses of the different accounts in the EMD still show the old statuses. The status sets fine, so it only seems like a cosmetic issue but I am not sure. If it is I'll just file a ticket on trac but I thought I'd ask first.
The other question I have is which is the exact function to call if I want to set the msn portion of an away/available message. Meaning the msn related status (brb, eating, otp, etc.) that one can set when manually creating a status.
I have been messing around with it a bit but I couldn't get it to work. Is there even a function to set this?

I hate the applescript status stuff because it sucks -- I wrote it so I should know. Sounds like a legit bug.

I think it is great that you've put it in there, it makes my life easier on a daily basis so thanks a lot for that.

It's weird, the msn status sets fine for brb, although I don't even call that function but the status for otp doesn't either I am calling the function wrong or something doesn't work.
Also away messages set the msn status per default to busy and not to away.
so it is set status name to what...? I guess I am kind of lost on this one since it doesn't work like the others. (first it is not "my" status name and second it just doesn't take "on the phone" or any of the other msn statuses)

Evands could you help me on that one please? It really seems like I am calling the function wrong, because it doesn't work. The weird thing is that it doesn't seem to follow the scheme of the others, so I'd appreciate some input whether this is my fault or the function just simply doesn't work.
