MSNM For Adium X

My friend needs help with this, and she can't get on these forums for some reason, so I am asking it for her.

She cannot figure out how to use MSNM with Adium X. She says that it isn't on the list.

Can anyone help me?

This isn't the Adium forum, so I'll move it to the right place.

I assume your friend wants to add an MSN account? Then in the Prefs, click the Accounts tab. Click the "+" to add a new account. Click that account, and from the "Account Type" popup menu, choose "MSN Messenger". Fill in the info. Now, she can connect by choosing that account from the file menu.

She said that. I don't have Adium, so no idea what it means.

Right... so if she can add her account and sign on properly, what is the problem? Your explanation was very confusing, please ask her what the actual problem is and let us know.
