Can anyone else connect to msn using adium?

A few days ago I haven't been able to log onto msn messenger. It doesn't matter what client I use. It won't connect. I have it set to connect to messenger.hotmail.com 1863 Any help would be greatly appericated.

Seems like a MSN problem seeing that you can't log into MSN with any client, not an AdiumX problem. Do you have a firewall on or something that's blocking the connection to use MSN? Maybe if you try to sign on with your MSN account using a different port, it might work.

Also, do you have a second MSN account that you can try connecthing through?

MSN's servers are probably down for some reason. Chances are it'll be working now. Do you get an error dialog box when you attempt to sign into messenger when using Adium? If so, what does it say?

I got it working again by clicking connect via http. I don't know what that had to do with it but at least it works now.
