Questions on using YM! in Adium

I would like to know how to do two things for YM! within Adium:

1) block/ban users not in my buddy list
2) be invisible.

Wait for Adium version .8.

Blocking will likely be in .8. Invisibility will not.

Please don't guarantee features

So is the best way to handle blocking to open YM! and set the ignore feature there?

Currently, yes. In the future, not necessarily.

You'll notice I didn't promise those features would be in .8. I just said wait for .8 ('coz they're not in .7).
