To be more accurate, they will be filing bugs and complaints about things that are half done, in process, or are already known. Not to mention there's no guarantee of stability, but by downloading users automatically infer one.

I remember that time Iser lost half his home directory to a bad line of code in CVS (svn back in the day before we used svn)
