Clearing recent pictures in image picker

Hi there. Does anyone know how to clear/delete the recent pictures from the image picker (account > personal > choose icon > recent pictures). I can't seem to find an option for doing this. I have completely removed and reinstalled adium, but all the pictures are still there, even though I have deleted some of these original pictures from my hard drive!

Does anyone have any suggestions? I am running Tiger 10.4.3, and Adium X 0.87

AFAIK these are managed by the OS, not Adium. I don't know that there is a way to remove them without locating the cache itself and deleting it. I could easily be wrong though.

There isn't a button for it within Adium at this time, but the cache itself is at:
~/Library/Images/iChat Recent Pictures
