Adium with MSNP11 (personal message support)
I think the general rule of thumb applies: if you don't know what or how to build software, don't have the tools, etc. then you should probably be patient and wait for those that do. I'm not trying to be mean, but individual build instructions for every person who wanders across this thread will get tedious quickly.
Try my software!

I managed to build a deploymeny version. Works fine for me even after trashing the source I downloaded but can't be sure it will for everyone else. Give it a go if the source is a bit over your head and if it works i'm sure some proper bandwidth can be found for it.

This is our decision, to live fast and die young.
it works for me BUT it doesn't update changed msn displaypictures and it shows online/idle/away status wrong in some people.michael wrote:http://s55.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1ZCC ... 648CS1ESIZ

hope you get those things fixed
In the actual SVN that's working fine, but maybe thedumbkid used an old source when coded the support (remember that only a month ago, there where a lot of issues w/ display pics)trunks wrote:so is displaypicture broken in SVN also?dfunct wrote:The online/idle/away status's have been broken for a while now in SVN (which this has been built off) so I guess its a core developer issue ... I have made a trac ticket about it so hopefully it'll be fixed sometime
Awww shucks
Well I would like to say thank you to dumb kid for all the work that he has put into this little project so far
I just hope the devs pick this up because it is a really handy feature it would also be great if we could get the latest and great version of the source code and maybe even a set of diff's so we can help pick up where you left off
Best of luck to you

he was working on sending the patch to gaim, but he cant now. So unless someone else picks up...i still have the source for adium if someone wants it, he never sent me his gaim source though.Paul wrote:
I hope the work dumbkid has done doesn't get dumped, and can somehow be merged into SVN ready for 1.0.
He's said nothing in this forum stating that he could not. Where are you getting this information, and why can he not?zerock wrote:he was working on sending the patch to gaim, but he cant now.
