Invisible only for a few contacts

Post by Artanis »

I know that this has been discused before, but I don'r remember the result.
So, is there a script or something that allows me to be invisible only for few contacts in my list (contacts from the same account, msn or yahoo for example)?

I know invisibility feature already exists, but for all the contacts in an account.

I don't believe it's possible to send different statuses to each contact. If you don't want specific people to see you online, you can block them.

ICQ lets you set invisible and then manage a list of users that will see you online even when you're set invisible. This feature has been there for YEARS.
Your friends in the whitelist will see the common flower with en eye on it.

I don't think GAIM ever supported this feature as they always said they wanted to add features that are supported on all protocols.

I wonder if and how the same feature is enabled on MSN. Doesn't the official client support the invisibility but then you can set yourself as available to a few users that you select?
