Profile/Away Message True Link Display

This isn't really so much of a request as just a topic for discussion that will possibly lead to a request.

I'm thinking that it would be nice if next to links in profiles and away messages had the actual link or at least the domain in brackets or something next to it (a la Slashdot). That would keep those of us who absolutely DESPISE those damn IMchaos links and the like from being nailed every time.

Your thoughts?
