Bad things

Lately my copy of Adium has been running awry. I can't seem to figure out why.

Whenever I click on the menu bar icon, it just hangs and i get the little swirly rainbow thing. I also recently started combining my contacts to save buddy list space, and now my contact list is slowing down a lot. I want to do a clean sweep of all my adium files, but I want to save all of my styles and stuff.

What can I do? Or should I just sit and wait until v9.x is released?

One more thing... whenever I change my dock icon and restart my computer, the icon on the dock remains as the old one until I launch Adium. Weird, huh?

Can't speak to the rest, but this is pretty normal. Happens with every application.
