Where does Adium store buddy icons?

Where does Adium store buddy icons?

Where does Adium store a user's buddy icon? I had suspected it was in the plist files in ByObject, but they don't seem to have a key for the icon.

I'm not at my Mac at the moment, but I think it's in the ~/.gaim/ directory.
