SIP phone/gizmo project plug-in whereabouts?

Last known status of this plug-in was that it only worked for 0.85, and that SIPhonejason was working on making it less dependent on the version. I wonder what the status on this is?

There waiting for a stable plugin api to be ready(currently being worked on for a future version of adium) before they make a new version.
