Most recent messages not shown in conversation window?

In my message window to a user, I was talking with him. We have about 15 lines of conversation, then I close the window. The user sends me a message, I open it, and the most recent messages (before the one he just sent) were yesterday's messages, even though there were more recent messages after those! Is this normal behavior? Why does this happen?

I can even compare the message history in the conversation window and the log viewer, and they are different.

Dunno why that would happen, but it will be fixed in 1.0

If you don't know why it would happen, then how do you know it will be fixed in 1.0?

Because message history will work by reading the logs in 1.0, while it stores the data separately in 0.89.

I believe this is a known problem. Though I can't remember what was causing it.
