yahoo pictures no refresh

I am having trouble with my yahoo account:

The pictures from some of my contacts don't refresh anymore. I know for sure because I saw yesterday at a friend (he has a PC) of mine that some of our mutual friends change their pictures pretty often but on my adium I still see the OLD pictures.

What can I do?

change the options that tells adium to use the image from the adressbook? or to set it?
Preferences (cmd-,) -> Advanced -> Adress Book

hmm, still doesn't refresh all of my contacts.
