ICQ Users can't see my avatar, I can see theirs

Hello everyone,

I've noticed that although I have set my avatar (for ICQ) and I can see it in chat windows, my buddies that use the ICQ client on windows can't see it (as if I don't have an aveatear set). I've checked this with two separate friends, and it's the same result.

I can perfectly see their avatars both in the rooster and in the chat windows.

I'm using AdiumX 0.89.1.

Does anyone know what is the problem?

I've had the same Problem ever since i use Adium. I don't think it ever worked properly.
There are also two Tickets for that Problem:

Probably it will be fixed with the Joscar switch in Version 1.0

… Probably because libgaim’s ICQ support is outdated or something; the newest ICQ supports buddy icons yet the one libgaim is based on is probably older.

Thanks for the answers everyone. Seems like wating for 1.0 is the best thing to do at the moment.
