How do you iggy (ignore) someone?

I'm new to Adium, and I'd like to know how do you iggy someone? As I interpret Adium, you can "block" someone from sending you a private message, but I'm talking about when your in a chatroom full of people and someone is being down right rude and annoying on the chat screen, is there anyway to like make him/her disappear?
